이 앨범 자켓에 있는 모습 역시 그렇지만, 일단 사진으로 처음 대한 Steve Forbert의 모습은 참 순진한 시골 청년 같다는 인상입니다. 제가 본게 젊을 때 모습이었나 봅니다. 옆 사진은 나이가 좀 들었을 적 모습이네요. 1955년생이니 지금은 나이 지긋한 중장년 아저씨가 되어 있겠군요.

11살에 기타를 처음 배워서 학창 시절에는 밴드 생활을 했었고 트럭 운전사 경력도 가지고 있는 Steve Forbert가 1978년 데뷔작을 내고 처음 등장했을 때에는 'New Dylan'이란 별명을 얻을 정도로 포크락계에 신선한 바람을 일으켰다고 합니다. 1979년 두 번째 앨범 (Jackrabbit Slim)을 통해 그는 더욱 확고한 위치를 다지게 되는데 상큼한 피아노와 기타 반주로 앨범의 포문을 열고 있는 'Romeo's Tune'이 탑40를 장식하며 그의 베스트 셀링 앨범으로 기록됩니다.

Poco의 'Sea Of Heartbreak'처럼 사랑을 잃은 자신을 등대를 찾아 표류하는 배에 비유한 이 곡은 국내에서도 꽤 많은 사랑을 받으며 80년대초 국내 다방가에서 자주 들려지던 곡이라고 합니다.
